Snag your tickets to the fundraiser on February 8 and get ready by noting your favourite artworks in the digital catalogue or visiting the exhibition! You can also support our work by purchasing Union Gallery shop goods, online raffle tickets, or by making a donation.

Your generosity directly impacts Union Gallery’s not-for-profit programming—including supporting local artists’ paid exhibitions, artist residencies, workshops, performances, educational opportunities, and more. Thank you!

ABOUT THIS YEAR'S FUNDRAISER

Since 1995, we have featured the work of student and professional artists alike in an exhibition and lottery-style draw. Last year, we introduced a new option for artists to keep a percentage of their artwork’s revenue while contributing to UG’s fundraising. Thanks to supporters like you we are able to continue with this format which sustains our fundraising goals while building more reciprocal relationships with artists.

Artwork values are set by the artists at either $100 or $200. Ticket holders will select from the pool of artworks corresponding to the value of their draw ticket(s).

With our return to an in-person event, we’re trying something a little different this year. Our art draw will be split in two with a party in the middle! See the itinerary for this daytime event below.

EVENT ITINERARY
1-2pm - $200 art draw
2-4pm - Party time! Live music, activities, and refreshments
4-5pm - $100 art draw

HOW IT WORKS
Ticket holders choose from a wide variety of artworks, with a twist: tickets are drawn live, lottery style. When a ticket holder's name is called, they have one minute to pick an artwork corresponding to the dollar value of the ticket. Can’t attend in person? Buy a proxy ticket and we’ll call you to make your selection.

A note about donations: donations made through our side by side fundraiser campaign are not eligible for charitable tax receipts. If you would like to receive a tax receipt, please donate to Union Gallery through our new Give to Queen’s page.
