Work Study Positions

We are seeking two highly motivated individuals to take on the roles of Gallery Assistant and Program Assistant through Queen’s Work Study this summer. The Gallery Assistant will work under the supervision of the Gallery Director to support the operations of the gallery, provide peer-to-peer training and contribute to a collaborative work environment. The Program Assistant will work under the supervision of the Program Director to support public programs, workshops and event programming. This is a unique opportunity for a student to develop skills in arts administration within a small not-for-profit organization.
TERM: May 27–August 9, 2025 (flexible start date)
WORKDAYS: Wednesdays 4–8pm; Saturdays 11am–4:30pm
HOURS: 58 hours over 14 weeks; approximately one 4-hour shift per week
COMPENSATION: $17.20/hr plus vacation pay as part of the Work Study Entitlement
LOCATION: Union Gallery, Queen’s University, Katarokwi-Kingston, Ontario
